Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok - Arrival and Transfer

Meet and greet on arrival at Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 02
Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir - Excursion

After a heavy breakfast, we take you to the famous Tsomgo Lake at 12000 ft (3600M). We start around 8.30 AM in the morning from the hotel. You have the whole day to enjoy the snow and Yak ride at the scenic high altitude alpine lake near the Indo-Tibet border. The 1 km long and 15m deep lake is considered sacred to the local people. The pristine clear water remains frozen during winter. Have fun with snow and enjoy an exciting Yak ride around the lake.

Note: - 

1. Visitors are allowed to stop at Tsomgo/Nathula for duration of 30 minutes to 1 Hr to avoid any unforeseen mishaps/congestion in area.

 2. All vehicles returning from Nathula, Baba Mandir, Tsomgo, should reach 3rd Mile check post by 5 pm. Failure to adhere timings by vehicles will cause discontinuation of permit for the defaulting vehicles. 

3. Visit to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir depends upon the availability of permits and valid documents. If permits are not granted alternative sight-seeing will be done. 

4. Additional Point: Nathula Pass: Visiting Nathula Pass requires an additional permit. Permits are limited, so guests must inform us at least a day prior to their travel. Only a certain number of vehicles are allowed each day. Payment can be made directly to the driver or our local representative.

Day 03
Gangtok - Fullday Sightseeing

This morning we will embark on our Journey to see in an around of Gangtok Local Sightseeing.

1.    Tashi View Point Enjoy a panoramic view of the Kanchenjunga range, take photographs, and admire the scenic landscape. You may also see the nearby temples and some local stalls.

2.    Plant Conservatory Explore the well-maintained gardens showcasing a variety of plants native to the region. Enjoy walking around, taking photos, and learning about the flora of the area.

3.    Institute of Tibetology Explore the museum and library with exhibits related to Tibetan culture, history, and religion. The institute also offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

4.    Ropeway (Cable Car) Enjoy a 10-15 minute ride, offering a bird's-eye view of Gangtok and the surrounding landscape. Depending on the wait time and how many people are in line, this might take a little longer.

5.    Ganesh Tok Visit the small temple and enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Gangtok from this elevated point. It’s a peaceful place with nice walking trails around.

6.    Gunjang Monastery Visit the monastery, explore the tranquil surroundings, and admire the architecture and Tibetan Buddhist culture. You may want to take a moment for meditation or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

7.    Banjhakri Falls Take a walk to the waterfall and enjoy the scenic beauty. There are pathways that take you to the falls, and the park also features statues of traditional Sikkimese culture. It’s a peaceful and scenic spot for photos.

Gangtok to Bagdogra Airport Drop

 After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive towards Bagdogra Airport (IXB) in a private vehicle. Enjoy a scenic drive through the lush landscapes of Sikkim and North Bengal. Upon arrival at the airport, proceed for your onward flight with cherished memories of the Sikkim trip.

  • In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS..

  • The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.

  • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.

  • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.

  • We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.

  • The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.

  • The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).

  • More than 60 days Full refund (after deducting minimum charges per person as service fee)
  • 30-60 days 35 % of Package Cost, charge is applicable as per cancellation policy.
  • 15-29 days 50% of Package Cost, charge is applicable as per cancellation policy.
  • 7-14 days 70% of Package Cost, charge is applicable as per cancellation policy.
  • Less than 7 days of your travel date if you cancel your trip then 100% of the package cost, charge is applicable as per cancellation policy. (There is no refund even if no show)
