Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and begin your journey towards Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The drive will take you through picturesque landscapes, lush green hills, and winding roads alongside the Teesta River. Upon reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel and relax for the evening. You can explore nearby areas or take a leisurely stroll around MG Marg. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit the famous Ganesh Tok, a religious place, next, head to Banjhakri Falls, a beautiful waterfall surrounded by lush greenery and a park. Then, explore Namgyal Institute of Tibetology to learn about Tibetan culture and Buddhism and Deorali Ropeway . Finally, visit Tashi Viewpoint for stunning views of Kanchenjunga, especially in the early morning or late afternoon. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After a heavy breakfast, we take you to the famous Tsomgo Lake at 12000 ft (3600M). We start around 8.30 AM in the morning from the hotel. You have the whole day to enjoy the snow and Yak ride at the scenic high altitude alpine lake near the Indo-Tibet border. The 1 km long and 15m deep lake is considered sacred to the local people. The pristine clear water remains frozen during winter. Have fun with snow and enjoy an exciting Yak ride around the lake.
Note: -
1. Visitors are allowed to stop at Tsomgo/Nathula for duration of 30 minutes to 1 Hr to avoid any unforeseen mishaps/congestion in area.
2. All vehicles returning from Nathula, Baba Mandir, Tsomgo, should reach 3rd Mile check post by 5 pm. Failure to adhere timings by vehicles will cause discontinuation of permit for the defaulting vehicles.
3. Visit to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir depends upon the availability of permits and valid documents. If permits are not granted alternative sight-seeing will be done.
4. Additional Point: Nathula Pass: Visiting Nathula Pass requires an additional permit. Permits are limited, so guests must inform us at least a day prior to their travel. Only a certain number of vehicles are allowed each day. Payment can be made directly to the driver or our local representative.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Pelling. On the way, visit Namchi, where you can explore the Char Dham, a pilgrimage site featuring replicas of the four sacred Hindu shrines: Badrinath, Jagannath, Dwarka, and Rameshwar. Afterward, visit Buddha Park in Ravangla, home to a 130-foot tall statue of Buddha surrounded by beautiful gardens and scenic views. Continue your journey to Pelling, check into your hotel, and relax for the night.
After breakfast, start your day with a sightseeing tour of Pelling. Visit the stunning Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim, known for its intricate architecture and serene surroundings. Next, head to Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred lake that is believed to fulfill wishes. Then, visit the Skywalk, a glass bridge offering breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys below. Capture beautiful memories and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Return to your hotel in Pelling for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your journey back to Bagdogra. Enjoy the scenic drive as you wind through the hills. Depending on your flight schedule, you can stop for lunch along the way or explore any remaining sights. Arrive at Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey, concluding your memorable trip to Sikkim.
In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS..
The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
